


Soft Cheese Making and Production at Kingdom Dairy
Kingdom Group has grown rapidly since 2000, when we separated from its then sister company Lakeland Foods to concentrate purely on mozzarella and pizza cheese production. Late 2004 Kingdom moved back into soft cheese making and production, as it became apparent that the UK's soft cheese manufacturing base was shrinking, not growing. In 2006 Kingdom Dairy Company was established as a separate business with the capability to manufacture a wide range of soft cheese and cultured cream products, such as cottage cheese and crème fraiche. The two companies now employ some 140 personnel in soft cheese manufacturing, distribution, administration, technical and NPD departments.
